Funding

NORCA has gained funding from the Big Lottery to develop the Singing Squad, a singing group for young people that combines vocal development with contemporary material and performance. It is an opportunity to learn to sing or deveolp your voice as part of a group.

  • The group will meet weekly and perform regularly.
  • It will be run by experienced tutors and performers.
  • Material will be chosden by the group and in the past has included songs bu the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Black Eyed Peas, Soul classics and much more.
  • There will be taster sessions in schools and other venues.
  • Previously the group met at the Garage, Chapelfield ad cost £1/session.
