20 Minutes

The 20-Minutes Project offered unemployed and disadvantaged people in Norwich the chance to learn film/video-making skills in the process of making a short film (1 to 3 minutes long). Participants worked alongside professional tutors, getting up to 30 hours of support. They had the opportunity to learn everything they might need to know to make a short film, from planning their project to how to use a digital video camera and edit the footage they have taken. The resulting 12 films were shown in June 2005 and we hope to be able to stream some of them from this website. Funded by Acorn Grants, this project was focused on the Norwich Learning City SRB areas.
